This handcrafted Easter card – Some Bunny Loves You – was created for a few challenges that will be listed at the end of this post.\u00a0 First, the image was colored using Spectrum Noir markers.\u00a0 Then, I cut the image into a circle and inked the edges with Crushed Concord Distress Ink from Ranger.\u00a0 This image is not colored as well as I would have liked – a few bleeds and funky shading, but overall I am pleased.\u00a0 This image is called Harriet and and Ragga<\/a> from Crafty Sentiments.\u00a0 They have so many cute images!\u00a0 Make sure you check out their great selection!<\/p>\n

The layout of this card is based off of a sketch listed in the challenges below.\u00a0 I knew that I wanted to use dots and stripes for another challenge and I just found this awesome green sequin ribbon at the Dollar Tree.\u00a0 So, I started searching my stash for stripes and dots in green in purple to go with my sweet image.\u00a0 To assemble the card, I started by attaching the purple polka dot paper to the green striped paper.\u00a0 Then, I used 1\/8″ Scor-Tape to attach the sequin ribbon.\u00a0 Next, I placed the circle, lifting the ribbon so the edge would cover the circle.<\/p>\n

The sentiment was printed and cut with my rectangle Stitched Die from Tim Holtz.\u00a0 Then, I took a few of the sequins off of the thread and glued them near the image and around the sentiment.\u00a0 Finally, I placed all of the layers onto a kraft paper card blank measuring 5″ x 6 1\/2″.<\/p>\n
