Compass Rose Pendant and Earring Set

The center bead of the compass rose pendant is a beautiful teal and green glass bead. There are four teal Czech glass beads at the four direction marks. I used matching beads along with copper beads to make the earrings.

The compass rose pendant measures approximately 2 1/2″ in length by 2″ in width. It is the perfect size to make a statement!

The earrings are approximately 2″ long. This measurement does not include the ear wires.

All three items are copper wire that I have oxidized and sanded. First, I applied liver of sulfur to create a dark finish. Then I used 0000 steel wool to lightly sand the metal. Sanding the pieces made the copper show through. This finish can wear down over time. So, I will need to apply a finish to protect the patina.
